Private Events
At Raemoir House, private events are conceived not simply as occasions, but as experiences shaped with care, character, and a deep sense of place. Set within a historic country house atmosphere, the house offers an elegant blend of heritage, charm and indulgent comfort, allowing every gathering to unfold with effortless sophistication.
From the moment guests arrive, the house lends itself to a sense of occasion. A dedicated team, including private chefs and experienced staff, provides discreet yet attentive service throughout, ensuring that every detail is considered and every moment flows seamlessly. The approach is intentionally flexible: the team can take full ownership of planning and execution, or work closely alongside you to realise a more personal, curated vision.
The interiors of the house offer a rich variety of spaces, each with its own distinctive atmosphere. Five beautifully appointed public rooms provide a versatile canvas - the Big Fish Bar offers a whimsical, characterful setting ideal for relaxed receptions and informal gatherings, while the Oval Ballroom evokes timeless elegance with its graceful proportions and sense of history. The pine-panelled Sitting Room adds warmth and intimacy, ideal for relaxing or for smaller, more reflective gatherings and pre-dinner drinks. Each space stands confidently on its own, yet they are thoughtfully designed with connecting doors that allow them to flow together, creating a layered and immersive experience tailored to the rhythm of your event.
This adaptability allows for everything from intimate dinners for close friends and family to larger seated occasions for up to 70 guests within the house. Whether configured as a sequence of elegant rooms or as a unified celebration space, the setting retains an unmistakable sense of exclusivity and private grandeur.

For additional space, a further 4 bedrooms are available in the adjoining and historic Ha’ Hoose, the original Raemoir House, whose heritage stretches back to 1690, adding a deeper sense of history and authenticity to the estate experience.
The public rooms provide a rich variety of atmospheres, each designed to suit different moods and moments across your stay. The pine-panelled Drawing Room offers relaxed country-house comfort, ideal for informal conversation beside the fire. The Oval Room lends itself beautifully to private dining, where celebration and ceremony can unfold in a more refined setting. The Garden Room brings in natural light and a sense of calm, while the iconic Big Fish Bar offers a more playful and sociable space for drinks and relaxed gatherings. Throughout the house, open fireplaces add a layer of warmth and intimacy, enhancing the feeling of being welcomed into a true private home rather than a venue.
For those wishing to make a truly memorable entrance, we even offer the option of arrival by private helipad, an unmistakably dramatic way to begin a stay defined by exclusivity and occasion.
At its heart, the experience at Raemoir is about freedom and privacy, the ability to gather, celebrate, and unwind in a setting that feels entirely removed from the outside world, yet deeply rooted in the beauty and heritage of Royal Deeside.
