Who we are

James Anderson: General Manager of Raemoir House Hotel

Soon after James' arrival in the Autuumn of 2008 he was promoted to the position of General Manger. He has inspired and rejuvenated the Raemoir team and leads confidently from the front. He is commited and actively involved in every area of the hotel's daily business.

James' CV includes some very well known and respected hotels, including Cringletie, Cromlix and 1 Devonshire Gardens.

David and Verity Webster, have owned the Raemoir since February 2006

David has a strong and successful 20 year history in hotel management, including some of the most prestigious hotels of both London and Scotland including the Savoy and Turnberry, whilst Verity brings interior design skills, management and administration experience as well as her invaluable training as a registered general nurse.

Castleton House Hotel	The first of our sister hotels to be purchased by David and Verity, back in 2000, It is a lovely small country house hotel, close to Glamis Castle, it has always had an excellent reputation for good food.
Lands of Loyal	The Lands of Loyal is the latest to join the group, it is in the beautiful town of Alyth. It is famous for its magnificent wood pannelled hall and fireplace. 17 lovely bedrooms and modern bathrooms, many with spectacular views.
Isle of Eriska Nr Oban	Situated on the scenic west coast of Scotland, Eriska’s secluded setting makes it the perfect place to relax in tranquil surroundings. Eriska has an excellent spa and swimming pool complex. It is such a joy after being pampered and subdued to a virtual doze to gently stroll along the sea shore and not to suffer the rude awakening of traffic and urban life.
Kinloch Lodge Isle of Skye	Kinloch Lodge is owned by Godfrey, Lord Macdonald of Macdonald and his wife Claire Macdonald of Macdonald, the well known cookery writer and demonstrator. Their daughter Isabella and her husband Tom are the managers and over the winter months in 2008 they have renovated, decorated and completely renewed the hotel. If you have been before you must go again and if you haven't been I would thoroughly recommend you do.
The Cross Kingussie	The Cross is a family run “restaurant with rooms” located in the cheerful village of Kingussie within the stunning Cairngorm National Park, surrounded by mountains, rivers and lochs.
