The warm ambience and comfortable seating of the panelled Sitting Room make for an ideal place to meet friends or relax. Fresh ground coffee and speciality teas are served with Raemoir shortbread or a more sumptuous offering including Sandwiches, Cakes, Scones, Cream and Jam are available. A glass of Prosecco or Champagne ticks the pure indulgence box.

Royal Scottish: This is a blend of two ‘Regal’ large-leaf teas from India (Assam) and Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Then malty, rich Assam character compliments perfectly the curranty, aromatic Ceylon tea and produces a wonderfully rounded, refreshing cup to soothe and refresh the palate. This tea is blended in Edinburgh, Scotland’s historic capital city.
Earl Grey: This tea takes its name from the second Earl Grey and it is believed that the blend was created in his honour. A blend of fine, black China teas delicately scented with Oil of Bergamot, a citrus fruit akin to thelime. A very refreshing brew with a hint of sharpness that can be drunk with or without milk. China Keemun: From the Anhui province and has a wonderful large black leaf. It is low grown and has a full, slightly sweet character and overall is mellow and refreshing.
Darjeeling: Darjeeling tea is grown in North India in the foothills of the Himalayas, it is often described as the Champagne of teas. This tea is from the Margaret’s Hope Estate and is graded as FTGFOP1, or Fine Tip Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe. The tea is grown at high altitude and offers a distinctive character and hints of Almonds. Penetrating yet delicate and refreshing. Yin Zhen or Silver Needle (supp £1.00)
This tea is grown in the Fujian Province of China and only the youngest and finest leaves are plucked and gently dried to produce this light and delicate tea. The character is light and nutty and best enjoyed without milk.
Formosa Toppest Oolong (supp £1.00): The large black twisted leaves of this fine semi-fermented Oolong are grown high on the fertile slopes of Mount Dung Ding in the centre of the island of Taiwan. The character is light, as if gently scented by fruit blossom. Ceylon Decaffeinated: This classic Ceylon leaf tea has been gently processed by CO2 decaffeination yet it retains the sweet rounded character of Ceylon teas.
Gunpowder: This Chinese green tea is light and delicate but also penetrating. Its yellow green liquor has the advantage of being packed with antioxidants which are regarded as having healthy attributes. Jasmine: A light and fragrant Green China tea scented with Jasmine which produces a delicate but soothing cup.
Japanese Cherry: The delicate flavour of green tea balances well with the subtle flavour of Japanese Cherry.
Passion Fruit and Orange: Fruity and refreshing the passion fruit and orange pieces are blended with fine Keemun China Leaf tea.
Blackcurrant and Blackberry Leaf Tea: China Black tea flavoured with Blackcurrant oil and Blackberry leaves.
Rooibos: Rooibos is sometimes known as Red Tea and is grown in the Cederberg region of the Western
Cape region in South Africa. Caffeine free and full of antioxidants, the flavour is slightly sweet and nutty.
Peppermint Cut: Fresh high quality peppermint that calms and soothes.
Camomile: Best quality Camomile flowers produce a pleasant aromatic tea that may be enhanced with a little sugar or honey.
Filter Coffee: Fair-trade Colombian Supremo
Espresso: Cotopaxi Dynamic Volcano, smooth and dark from South America
Double Espresso: double shot of Cotopaxi Dynamic Volcano
Americano: Espresso with hot water. Stronger than regular coffee but not as strong as espresso.
Espresso Macchiato: Single shot of Espresso topped with a little foamed milk.
Cappuccino: Single shot of Espresso with hot steamed milk and topped with foam and Chocolate powder
Gingerbread Cappuccino: flavoured with Gingerbread Syrup.
Hazelnut Cappuccino: flavoured with Hazelnuts Syrup.
Cinnamon Cappuccino: flavoured with Cinnamon Syrup.
Latte: Tall, layered milky coffee topped with foamed milk
Mocha Coffee: creamy Hot Chocolate finished with a shot of Espresso
