The hotel offers a variety of rooms, some have fabulous views over the garden and to the hills beyond whilst others offer generous space, some of the bathrooms have already benefited from upgrading, our signature room offers it all, ask for by name, The Raemoir Room.

All our rooms are ensuite with most offering a shower as well as bath.

The 14 bedrooms of the main house includes The Raemoir Room. This overlooks the lawn and the hills beyond with a beautiful half tester bed, antique furniture, a flat screen 23” television, and a completely upgraded bathroom centred around the original Victorian bath but also now with a new separate shower cubicle.

Our superior room category includes Dunnottar, Crathes, Dunecht, all offer a view over the front lawn, and are particularly spacious and bright. Most have already benefited from redecoration this year.

In the Ha’ Hoose, we have 2 four poster bedrooms, these, and a the 5 bedrooms in the main house that have kingsize beds where they can be configured to be either double/twin.

Self catering

The self-catering apartments, with adjacent car park are situated 100 yards from the hotel and are set around the paved courtyard. They are converted from the Stables, Coach House and coachman’s accommodation from the Victorian era. They were converted in 1990, to be three units of fully equipped self-catering accommodation.

Most things you should need whilst you are away on holiday are provided, the kitchens being equipped with all the expected necessities plus a microwave oven, washer/dryer and in some, a dishwasher too. Linen and towels are provided.

The electricity for each apartment is metered, and is payable on departure.

The Stables

This one bedroom apartment has one large double room with en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped dining kitchen, sitting room with bed settee and en-suite bathroom. Cost: £290 per week + electricity.

The Loosebox

Ideal for a family holiday, this apartment has an open-plan kitchen/living room, two bedrooms – one double bedded room with en-suite shower room and one twin bedded room and a separate bathroom.
Cost:- £385 per week + electricity.

The Coach House

A wonderful option for two people plus a child, having a large sunny sitting room and an open plan kitchen on the ground floor and a triple bedroom (one double bed and one single) with bath/shower room on the first floor. The views from this south-facing apartment are wonderful.
Cost:- £385.00 per week + electricity.

Carriage House and Mares Nest

The most spacious of our self catering apartments is in fact a three/four bedroom apartment with south facing views of the surrounding countryside. The ground floor has a large sitting room, which can be converted, into a single bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower room. There is a well-equipped kitchen /dining room. The first floor consists of one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, each with their own private facilities. This apartment is ideal for a family or fishing party.
